ABAW is Washington's largest voluntary bar association for Asian attorneys. was formed in 1987 by a small group of Seattle area attorneys. From humble beginnings, ABAW now counts hundreds of member attorneys, judges, professors, and law students in a wide range of practice areas and locations in the state of Washington and throughout the country.

Any individual who is duly admitted to practice law in the State of Washington or another state and who is in good standing, is eligible to join. Membership is always FREE for law students in good standing at any ABA-accredited law school.

Board Meetings The ABAW Board of Directors meets monthly to plan future events and programming. Upcoming meetings for the rest of 2016 will be on May 19, June 9, August 11, September 8, October 6, November 10, and December 1.
