ABAW is Washington's largest voluntary bar association for Asian attorneys. was formed in 1987 by a small group of Seattle area attorneys. From humble beginnings, ABAW now counts hundreds of member attorneys, judges, professors, and law students in a wide range of practice areas and locations in the state of Washington and throughout the country.

Any individual who is duly admitted to practice law in the State of Washington or another state and who is in good standing, is eligible to join. Membership is always FREE for law students in good standing at any ABA-accredited law school.

Board Meetings The ABAW Board of Directors meets monthly to plan future events and programming. The final board meeting of the year will be held on Thursday, December 1. Meetings are normally held from 5:30-7 p.m. at K&L Gates, 925 4th Ave. Ste. 2900, Seattle. If you would like to address the board, please contact us by emailing president (at) ABAW.org.
