2024 Immigration Pro Bono Day: On Saturday, October 5, 2024, ABAW and CISC Seattle held our Autumn 2024 Immigration Pro Bono Service Day. Thank you so much to volunteer attorneys for assisting our community members with their wills and estates matters! ABAW joins in the gratitude expressed by the community members to whom you provided services. 2024 Wills/Trusts & Estates Pro Bono Day: On Saturday, July 20, 2024, ABAW and CISC Seattle held our Summer 2024 Wills/Trusts and Estates Pro Bono Service Day. Thank you so much to volunteer attorneys for assisting our community members with their wills and estates matters! ABAW joins in the gratitude expressed by the community members to whom you provided services. ABAW at ACRS Walk for Rice

Each year ABAW participates in the Asian Counseling and Referral Service (ACRS) Walk For Rice. The Walk For Rice is a fundraiser for ACRS specifically benefiting ACRS's food bank, one of the largest in King County. Walk For Rice is a 2.5 mile walk or run that people of all ages are able to participate in. This community event is continually growing each year, attracting more and more participants to raise awareness for the ACRS Food Bank. The ACRS food bank provides rice and other culturally-appropriate foods to help support Asian and Pacific Islander people in need within our local community.

2025 Walk For Rice: Thanks to all who joined in the 2025 Asian Counseling and Referral Service (ACRS) Walk for Rice at Seward Park! ABAW was once again proud to have teamed up with other affinity bar groups at the ACRS annual Walk for Rice fundraiser! Members and friends gathered to walk and raise money to support ACRS’s food bank, which provides culturally familiar food to thousands of people in King County, Washington, every year. What may surprise many is that in order to provide culturally familiar foods, a majority of that food is purchased by ACRS. With rising food prices, this year’s fundraiser meant even more. Afterwards, the team met up for a BBQ to enjoy good weather, good food, and great company!

2024 Walk For Rice: On Saturday, June 29, 2024, ABAW participated in and fundraised for another fantastic Asian Counseling and Referral Service (ACRS) Walk For Rice! A huge thank you to our team members, donors, and to Eric de los Santos for generously hosting our joint team afterparty again! The 2024 Walk for Rice was held at Seward Park in Seattle. After the event, ABAW and FLOW member, Eric de los Santos, graciously hosted everyone at his home for a post-walk BBQ!
